The Assisi Hospice is there for anyone faced with a life-limiting illness, regardless of age, race, religion & financial status.

Day Care Patients

We provide day care, in-patient care and home care services all under one roof. Patients have the option of transferring between any of these services, depending on their needs and condition.

In-patient Care for adults & children

Providing 24-hour medical and nursing care, the inpatient service accepts patients with prognosis up to 3 months for those who need hospice care, symptom management or short term respite. The team works closely with patient’s family and significant others to provide the medical and pyscho-social and emotional care needed in a caring and life-affirming environment. Families of patients who need respite care may consider the inpatient service for planned short term care arrangements.

Home Care for adults & children Patients living at home receive 24-hour support from our professional team made up of doctors, nurses and counsellors / medical social workers to help them copementally and emotionally, with their loss of health and independence.

Day Care for Adults Our day care centre aims to provide patients, both ambulant and wheel-chair bound, with a restful and tranquil place to spend the day. We also have avenues for social interactions and emotional support. We also provide medical/nursing attention with physical, occupational and recreational therapies.
