This session provides an introduction to education programmes development and conduct of research projects within the community healthcare sector. Participants will learn about needs analyses, lesson planning, and programme evaluation methods. Considerations when conducting research in community settings, such as resource constraints and stakeholder engagement will also be explored   Through their sharing, the speakers hope to encourage future collaborations and inspire fellow professionals to take the first step towards new education and research endeavours.


Research 101: Enablers, Barriers, and Insights

This session offers an overview of Assisi Hospice’s research portfolio, highlighting key findings from ongoing and completed studies in education research, staff development, and clinical services. It is designed to help participants from various organizations identify potential research interests and priorities within their own contexts. The session will culminate in a panel discussion focusing on future opportunities and advancing meaningful research across the palliative and community care sector.
