This year’s theme, “I Am Because We Are”, is a reminder of our shared humanity. When one person suffers, all of us are called to respond. Your generosity helps ensure that no patient and no caregiver have to face the end-of-life journey alone.
Behind every patient is a family doing their best, often while navigating financial hardship, limited caregiving support and the emotional weight of serious illness. At Assisi Hospice, we provide holistic palliative care with compassion, dignity and respect, regardless of a person’s ability to pay.
70% of our patients are means-tested at the lowest income tier and in need of financial assistance. Our patients, especially those from underprivileged families, require help from the community in times of distress.
